| IN THE SPIRIT OF COLLABORATION, a joint annual meeting of Leaders Encouraging Aroostook Development and Aroostook Partnership for Progress was held June 12, 2008 at Northern Maine Community College. LEAD President Nathan Berry of Barresi Financial Inc.welcomed the 100-plus breakfast crowd and suggested they renew their commitment to foster and encourage balanced development of northern Maine. Governor John Baldacci declared war on runaway fuel costs and enlisted members of Leaders Encouraging Aroostook Development and Aroostook Partnership for Progress in the fight to turn Maine’s economy around |
